This book happened to be in the nightstand of the house we stayed in during our vacation to Park City.
I picked it up and had a hard time putting it down. (Although I am like that with most books.)
If you didn't know, as I didn't, the author is Martin Scorcese's first wife. It's a great tale of her trials and tribulations with him, men in general, drugs, alcohol and dealing with it all.
Sure, the story of her life was interesting, but more interesting to me was how she wrote. Turns out she churned out more by writing three pages a day, and only three pages a day, every day. There's more to it than that, but if you want to know, read the book. It's worth it.
Hmm, this is a crappy review. 😛
actually it wasn't that crappy of a review, I kinda want to read it now! (like I need another book on my to-read list!!)
The read is much better than the review. 🙂
