17/30 – I know you’re a tourist

Today was a beautiful south Florida day.  In the 50s when I left for work and highs in the 70s which means 60s in the office.

Driving down Washington Avenue, it's simple to pick out the locals and the tourists.  Locals = dressed like they're goiong skiing.  Tourists = dressed like they're at. the. beach!

It's been quite the quiet day today, and that's nice.  Some days, I just don't have much to say.

Talk amongst yourselves. 🙂

16/30 – Why I sometimes hate Latin music

So, it's not always.  I actually like it quite often.  When do I not like it?  Oh, maybe on a Sunday afternoon when it's sunny out and cool enough to have the windows open and the air off?  Maybe when the complete putos that live behind us think that it's okay to BLAST their music?  When they have their stereo backed up against the fence that separates our yards?  When they have it as cranked as it can possibly go because they're outside working….IN THEIR FRONT YARD?!?!?!

…..in the ghetto…on a cold and gray Chicago morn another little baby child is born….in the ghetto…..

Seriously, is it time to move yet?

In all the places I've lived besides Miami, I have never dealt with this.  Not in podunk PA, not within the city limits of Pittsburgh, not on Long Island, not in Colorado, not even in north Florida.  I cannot for the life of me understand it.  I guess, the lack of respect for others around you.  Grrrr.

On happier notes, the Dolphins won as did the Steelers in a wild game over the Chargers.  Pittsburgh 12 penalities, San Diego 1?  Nope, not lopsided at all.  But I do feel sorry for the Bolts because they keep losing in such crappy manners.

Well, I'm off to watch Lovey make cookies.  I hope that your weekend was lovely and all is well in your respective worlds even if I don't make it to each of your worlds to say so.

14/30 – ROCO Friday

Typically I would do this sort of thing a little earlier in the day, but you know how I do.

It's the weekend, ya'll, so I hope you truly do ROCO.  All I can say is that mine started out fantabulous.  How much better can it be when you start out with a University roll (salmon and avocado), follow it with Steak Kushiyaki (grilled steak on a stick), make a total pig of yourself with Pork Gyoza, and then and only then, finish it off with Chicken Pad Thai.

Let the congregation say, ROCO!

I swear to you, in front of Vox and the world, that I would eat sushi every single day of my life and more than likely never get tired of it.  You know, if it weren't for the probable mercury levels and the sodium in the edamame that I love so much.

(the typos I just had to fix were something horrendous)

I'm just procrastinating now.  I have two papers that I have to write before Sunday.  All the stuff is right there in my head but it doesn't want to come out.  I thought that writing here might help.  Not so much.

I guess I'll go back to watching Solo Boxeo Tecate and trying to push out one of these papers.

You know what I'm about.  ROCO.
