It’s late, I’m tired. There you go.
That up there is all I had to say last night when I got home from the Nuggets game. I was too tired to even push publish. But now, I’ve had some sleep and I’m ready to give an update.
It started snowing yesterday in the wee hours of the morning. That’s never a good sign. I started thinking that maybe we should take public transport to this event, but we opted to drive instead. By the time we got downtown at about 4, the roads were already getting not so nice.
Regardless, I trudged through the snow to find the right building where rehearsal was being held. There was a LOT of Zumba love going on in that room! Everyone was super friendly (which basically falls right in line with Colorado in general) and it didn’t even matter that I didn’t know anyone there. By the end of the night, I had made a few new friends.
We rehearsed for a while, talked about what would happen, smiled, laughed, joked, took pictures, and just basically had a great time. My photographer forgot to turn on the flash so some of the pics came out blurry, but no biggie. I’ll share the clear one and the one where I don’t quite have my eyes open, lol.
My face looks very, uh, full, lol. Ah well. Here’s the halftime show:
Truly a blast and I look forward to doing it again next year. It’s also inspired me to, oh, maybe work on putting a class together so I can teach once in a while. I mean, that’s why I did this in the first place and someone always needs a sub.
The roads were NOT GOOD on the way home. But, driving in the snow with a rear-wheel drive vehicle never is good. We made it, though, all in one piece, even though that piece was pretty frazzled.
Now that the Zumba excitement is over and done, it’s time to move on to the next thing I’m looking forward to:
STEELER FOOTBALL!!!
Oh, mama, I’m in fear for my life from the long arm of the law……..
