Thanks for stopping by my little slice of the internet. A little by the way of explanations:

• I’m southwest Pennsylvania born and raised. Thus, I am a fan of (almost) all things black and yellow (Steelers, Pirates, Penguins but NOT the Bruins or anything else out of the New England area) and Pittsburgh in general. Perhaps you’re aware of every sports broadcaster ever overusing the word confluence whenever Pittsburgh is on television. It drives me insane, but I’m using it anyway.
• Long ago, I worked in a place where pronouncing my name was an issue. I took on the name Sunshine. Over the months and years, my nickname got nicknames like Sunny and Shiner. I decided to change up the spelling with that ‘y’ and now you’re In Shyne’s Mind.
• My interests are varied. I mean all over the place. That means this blog has no focus, but if you stick around long enough and read enough, you just might learn something. Or laugh. Mostly laugh.
